Grief and Tears

Dreams dealing with sadness, depression, grief, crying, and tears. Sometimes a lot of tears--enough, in some dreams, to drown in. Interestingly, my dreams don't generally see that as a problem--drowning in grief a while is just another lesson.

For me, that is. If you're chronically depressed, I'd bet your dreams are more wary of letting you indulge your biochemical tendencies. The more I learn of other dreamers, the less I'm willing to generalize from myself. Dreamworlds vary profoundly, and some of that variance seems to be a response to biological uniqueness, not just culture and personality. One more reason to beware of one-size-fits-all dream dictionaries!
