EDITOR'S NOTE
This one looks like just a dream joke, but I see a message here. Rick's a dreamworker--seeing signs where the others can't. I think the dream hints how a good dreamworker pulls off those interpretive miracles: organization and record-keeping. Even his eating the Rolodex cards, not reading 'em, is more than a surreal sightgag. Writing dreams is not enough. You have to internalize 'em--really digest those messages, act on 'em. That's what puts real pulp in your Western (sorry)...
