Carl Linkhart

Examples of Carl Linkhart's dream paintings, from his collection Suspense Above the Pool, 1998. Commonly, dream artists don't write well (or at all) about their dreams, while dream writers and poets can't illustrate them. Linkhart's book is exceptional in that it gives us both text and image. (His website has many more paintings, but without prose-poems (or any text) to tell us the dreams that inspired them.)
