The idea that a personality pattern stamps an individual's experiences is strengthened when one examines the successive ones of those occasional individuals who report many. In instances like that of a woman from New York, the rather rigid channeling suggested in the first and second experience seems to be a feature of later ones, too.

Dream 1: Du Pont

The first occurred just after she had graduated from high school and before she had secured her first job. She dreamed she was in a strange room among strangers where people were working with strange equipment. She saw the layout of the room so vividly that a few months later, when she walked into the laboratory at the Du Pont plant where she had gotten employment, she felt she had been there before, and then her dream came to mind.

"It was the dream exactly, even though I had not known anyone who worked there, nor had I any description of the lab before I entered the room."

Dream 2: Transfusion

"About three years later I dreamed of being in a large building, standing on the staircase talking with three other people, three men: my husband, my father-in-law and one other who was hazy. We were having a conversation and quite concerned over something. I awoke crying and told my husband his sister needed blood and he must give a transfusion. But I said it before I was fully awake.

"About a year afterward I was in a hospital standing on the staircase talking with my husband, father-in-law and brother-in-law about the very serious illness of my sister-in-law. We were standing in the positions I had 'seen.' My husband had been called to the hospital to give his sister a transfusion. She died a few days later."

Dream 3: Neighbor

"Thirteen months ago I dreamed of the death of our good neighbor and close friend, a young man thirty-four years old and father of four youngsters. In the dream I saw him lying in the coffin in the living room of his home. His children were running in and out and I asked his wife if I couldn't take them home with me.

"When I awoke I told my husband, because he knew of my other dreams and this one frightened me. He told me to try to forget it and not talk about it.

"Three weeks later the man was fatally stricken with a heart attack. I brought his four children over to stay with me.

"I have had other small unimportant dreams that later happened, sometimes a week later, sometimes months."

The rest of the experiences of this person follow closely this same pattern, each being likewise a precognitive and realistic dream.
