Iguana
Dreamed by Jim Shaw between 1987 & Jan. 1995.

EDITOR'S NOTES
Note how neither the dreams' texts nor their illustrations tell the whole story here; you need both. For example, Jim doesn't mention the flooding in the first dream, but both his sketches show it; yet the images can't show if the iguana talks, or if its language is comprehensible.
That unmentioned water's no trivial detail. In the second dream, again there's flooding & potential water damage. If you only read the dream text, you couldn't see the theme recurs.
