• an article on modern couches designed by ship-wrecked sailors,
• some red CBS stockings,
• a Life mag with my mother greeting a German peace demonstrator on the cover,
• and a monster mag with Robocop arresting Thelma or Louise on its fold-out cover.

EDITOR'S NOTE

What intrigued me wasn't the articles per se (though Robocop arresting a primal bad girl points out repression won't erupt outa nowhere in the future; it's deep-rooted in our time) but what he taught his student. True today.
