THE BLIP
Dreamed 1982/5/4 by Chris Wayan
A relativistic blip of spacetime distortion is floating by me, like a lost soap bubble.
Luckily, it's not a miniature black hole--it doesn't suck things in, just distorts light, like an air bubble in windowglass.
A little flaw in the cosmos, that's all. Nobody's perfect.
But it lands in the worst possible place: sticks on the bridge of a guy's nose! It bends all the light, distorting his face.
He looks like a crooked clown. Now, no one will take him seriously.
And he's not the first victim I've met...
Another tragic nose blip.
